Our theme for September is Fair Trade and the issues surrounding the moral choices we make when shopping and eating.

27th Jessica Maudlin, associate for Sustainable Living and Earth Care, Presbyterian Mission Agency (PCUSA)

20th Lori Leonard, a professor in the Department of Global Development at Cornell University.  Her current research focuses on the social and environmental implications of consumption, disposability, and the global circulation of used and secondhand things.

13th Dary Goodrich, Cat’s husband, will be starting us off with a discussion of Fair-Trade Coffee. Dary is the Chocolate Products Manager for Equal Exchange, a fair-trade coffee, tea, and chocolate company. Other speakers for September have yet to be confirmed.
