Celebrating Baltimore’s Cultural Resources:

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Lura Johnson, distinguished Resident Pianist of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, will share an inside view of what it is like to be a musician in this internationally acclaimed orchestra as it welcomes its new music director, Jonathon Heyward. Ms. Johnson will talk about how the BSO maintains its collective excellence and how individual members hone their talents. Her own celebrated career includes performing more than one hundred concerts annually as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral pianist.
