Mark Conway represents the Fourth District on the Baltimore City Council and chairs the Public Safety and Government Operations Committee. Mark serves as Vice President of the Chesapeake Conservancy, a non-profit that focuses on protecting the Chesapeake ecosystem. Mark worked to improve transparency and accountability as Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of CitiStat and is fighting to address the racial and socio-economic divides that our city and district struggle to resolve. In addition to his chairmanship, he is honored to serve on the Economic and Community Development (ECD); Health, Environment, and Technology (HET); and Rules and Legislative Oversight Committees.

Mark is the son of dedicated public employees and proud union members. He and his wife, Sarah, their two daughters, and mischievous dog live in Baltimore.
